VIENNA – Printed circuit board maker AT&S reported revenue for the September quarter of 131.4 million euros, up 2.1% year-over-year.
Profit for the company's fiscal second quarter was $11.9 million, up 3.2% compared to the same quarter in 2010.
For the first six months of 2011, revenue after nonrecurring items was $241.9 million, down 0.33% year-over-year. Seventy percent of revenue was produced in Asia, 30% was produced in Europe. Net income was $13.97 million, down 27% year-over-year.
Several new applications in mobile devices benefited the company’s Shanghai plant in the first six months of 2011, AT&S said. The firm also reported success in the automotive sector, while its industrial business lagged.
AT&S opened a Taiwan sales office this fall.
