TAIPEI -- Taiwan’s electronics manufacturing production index fell sequentially but rose year-over-year in October.

The sector month-over-month fell to 0.93% of its level in 2006, the baseline year. However, the index was up 4.55% over last year, and is up more than 11% for the year.
