MUNICH – Schweizer Electronic reported third-quarter revenues of 25.6 million euros, down 8.9% year-over-year.

The PCB fabricator's EBIT for the quarter was 2.6 million euros, down 36.6% year-over-year.

Year-to-date sales were at 83.7 million euros, up 6.2 % compared to the year-ago period. EBIT was 8.3 million euros, down 16.2% from a year ago on higher costs for materials and labor.

Schweizer said it reduced its temporary worker headcount in response.

The firm lowered its forecast for fiscal 2011 to 105 million euros, flat with 2010. Despite lower sales, Schweizer reiterated its EBIT forecast of 10 million to 11 million euros for the year.

Schweizer Electronic manufactures PCBs for automotive, solar and industrial electronics.
