WESTPORT, CT – Compass Diversified Holdings swung to a net profit of $8.3 million, compared to a net loss of $700,000 in the same quarter last year.
The holding company, the parent firm of PCB fabricators Advanced Circuits and Circuit Express, reported second-quarter net sales of $428.1 million, up 5.9% year-over-year.
“During the second quarter, we posted strong financial results, with an increase in cash flow of 24.3% compared to the year-earlier period,” said CEO Alan Offenberg.
For the six months ended June 30, net sales were $852.2 million, an increase of 12.4% compared to the same period in 2010. Net income for the first half of the year was $1.7 million, compared to a net loss of $16 million last year.
Compass does not break out the revenues of its business units.
