FULLERTON, CA -- PCB fabricator Cosmotronic will relocate its flex circuit production into excess manufacturing space here in a facility owned by its parent company, JR Controls.

Irvine, CA-based Cosmotronic plans to move certain CAM and innerlayer production to Bench 2 Bench Technologies, a flex circuit manufacturer based in a 30,000 sq. ft. factory here, by July 1. Cosmotronic will then shift its flex circuit production to Bench 2 Bench by Jan. 1.

JR Controls purchased Cosmotronic in 2006. The firm also owns Winonics in Brea, CA.

Cosmotronic currently operates in a 30,000 sq. ft. site in Irvine. The firms did not indicate whether Cosmotronic would eventually move its rigid printed circuit board operations.
