CHANDLER, AZ -- Rogers Corp. has opened a $20 million printed circuit laminate production facility in Suzhou, increasing its high-end global capacity by some 50%.
The company Advanced Circuit Materials Division's new factory, located in the China Suzhou Innovation Park, will manufacture RO4000 circuit board laminate, and provide engineering, quality control and customer service. Rogers invested $20 million in the plant, which can be expanded as necessary.
Rogers has been in China since 2002, and the new factory brings the company's total in the country to six. Its Advanced Circuit Materials Division has grown about 12% compounded annually over the past 10 years.
