MELVILLE, NY -- Park Electrochemical today reported net earnings of $8.29 million for its fourth quarter ended Feb. 27, down from $10.4 million a year ago.

The maker of printed circuit board laminates recorded one-time tax benefit of of $2.16 million in the year-ago quarter.

Net sales for the period rose 1.6% to $51.2 million.

For the fiscal year, Park Electro's sales rose 21% year-over-year to $211.7 million. Net earnings rose 28.6% to $32.6 million. Net earnings before special items were $33.9 million, up from $23.2 million last year.
