TAIPEI -- Nan Ya Printed Circuit Board reportedly is seeking new sources of BT epoxy resin, a critical raw material for printed circuit board laminate.

The PCB maker's main supplier, Mitsubishi Gas Chemical, has suspended production of BT epoxy resin in the aftermath of the March 11 earthquake in Japan.

Nan Ya, which reportedly relied on Mitsubishi Gas Chemical for half its BT resin, reportedly is testing alternate materials from its parent company and a Korean producer, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing undislosed sources.
