TORONTO – PFC Flexible Circuits has expanded its assembly capacity and capabilities.
The firm has completed the installation of an additional automated assembly line consisting of a DEK printer, Panasonic pick-and-place system, Folungwin reflow oven, Cluso optical vision inspection/verification system, and an Ascentech ionic contamination test system.
The assembly line supports smaller package sizes such as 0201s and is capable of placing 1005s in the future.
PFC’s capabilities include single, double and multi-layer flex as well as rigid flex. The firm’s specialties are fine-line technology, impedance Control, and SMT flex assembly.
