MIGDAL HAEMEK, ISRAEL -- Camtek swung to a second-quarter net profit of $460,000, up from a loss of $2.1 million a year ago.

For the quarter ended June 30, the inspection equipment maker reported revenues of $20.8 million, up 66% year-over-year and 18% sequentially. GAAP operating income was $1.2 million, up from a loss of $2.1 million in 2009.

The maker of AOI equipment for printed circuit board and semiconductor processing guided for third quarter revenue of $22 million to $24 million.
