MIDLAND, MI -- Dow Chemical chairman and chief executive Andrew Liveris has outlined the company’s vision for an "Advanced Manufacturing Plan” to rejuvenate the US economy, with a special emphasis on revitalizing manufacturing.

 

As outlined in US Today, the plan calls for action on a number of fronts to establish a broad policy framework that will enable economic growth in this key sector, which employs nearly 13 million people in the US and six million in related fields.
