HARTLEPOOL, ENGLAND -- Falcon PCB Group has acquired flex circuit manufacturer Flex-Ability for an undisclosed amount.

Hartlepool-based Flex-Ability was founded in 1987 and builds circuit boards for military, medical, aerospace and telecom applications.

Falcon was founded in 1992 and includes a host of UK- and China-based shops, including Merlin Circuit Technology, Kestrel International Circuits, Elite Circuits and Merlin Flexible Circuits.

In a press release, Falcon Group chairman Neil Martin said. "It is very much business as usual for Flex-Ability customers who will now benefit from the added strength, capability and support of the Falcon Group."
