TAOYUAN, TAIWAN –Tripod Technology will invest some $13 million in Victory Circuit, giving the PCB fabricator a 53.5% stake.

Tripod’s investment will help Victory build its DRAM module board capacity. The segment currently accounts for 25% of the firm’s total capacity and sales.

Victory's plant here has a capacity of 300,000 to 400,000 sq. ft. of DRAM module boards; its Changshu, China plant has been temporarily shut down, DigiTimes reported.
