WESTPORT, CT – PCB fabricator Advanced Circuits has acquired Circuit Express Inc. for $15.6 million. 

Tempe, AZ-based CEI is a provider of quickturn prototype and low-volume rigid PCBs, primarily for aerospace and defense customers. It operates three plants.

For 2009, CEI reported revenue of approximately $16.4 million.  The combined company will have estimated sales of more than $55 million.

Advanced Circuits is a subsidiary of Compass Diversified Holdings, formed to acquire and manage middle market businesses headquartered in North America.
