Over a five-week period, BBG, a top US-based printed circuit board distributor, submitted a 15-panel set of a 10-layer, 0.062"-thick, standardized test panel design created by Conductor Analysis Technologies. BBG was ranked either equal to or better than its peers in a majority of the criteria that were measured, BBG said in a press release.
“This process capability assessment is an on-going quality improvement project that illustrates our strengths and weaknesses, and allows us to identify areas for process improvement or development. It is not a pass or fail situation, but a comparison to our peers who have submitted similar test panels,” said Greg Papandrew, president of BBG. “We strongly encourage our customers as well as our fellow PCB suppliers to participate in this database that benchmarks PCB manufacturing capabilities.”
