ANAHEIM, CA – Multi-Fineline Electronix yesterday said its March quarter sales would be lower than analysts’ estimates.

The flexible circuit board fabricator said March quarter revenue would be in the range of $160 million to $180 million. Gross margin likely will fall sequentially on product mix and lower volumes, the company said.

M-Flex also guided for December quarter revenue of $229 million, with gross margins of 15.7%, up from 15.3% a year ago.

Wall Street analysts are forecasting sales of $234 million and $210 million for the December and March quarters, respectively.
