HONG KONG — Dow Epoxy plans to raise the price of its epoxy resins, standard brominated epoxy resins and other epoxy products by $100 to $200 per metric ton across most of Asia, the firm announced.
Products in line for price increases include all liquid, solid, solid solution epoxy resins, including specialty epoxy resins.
The increase takes effect Jan. 1, or as contract terms allow, Dow said in a press release. The entire Asia Pacific region, excluding Japan, will be affected.
This is an addition to the previously announced price increase, and is in response to higher raw materials costs, Dow said.
