TAIPEI – Tripod Technology reported September sales climbed 12% from last year to reach a record NT$3.33 billion (US$103.59 million).

October sales are forecast to remain stable at over NT$3 billion (US$93 million), with November orders already starting to come in.

The company cites strong demand for optoelectronics and notebook PCBs, as customers build their inventory.

Third-quarter sales grew 20% year-over-year to NT$9.32 billion (US$289 million).

Utilization rates are at 95% at its plants in China and Taiwan. PCB and HDI monthly capacity jumped 6% sequentially to 620,000 square feet and continues to increase.
