RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, CA -- Excellon Automation has restructured its North American sales organization. The new group combines the direct and indirect sales teams to continue to support the company’s ability to provide retrofits and machine upgrades, support existing equipment and to produce new equipment. There will be no change to the company’s warranty or service coverage.

David Balsbough, Excellon Automation’s president commented, “Excellon is committed to supporting our customers and helping them receive the maximum value from their existing Excellon equipment.  During this sever economic downturn and weakness in the PCB industry we are focusing our efforts on supporting existing equipment and helping our customers where they need help the most.  We maintain a strong technical support, applications and product engineering capability, along with our industry leading spindle repair, parts & field service operations.  Unfortunately we have had to reduce our staffing and have re-assigned some personnel to better serve our customers.  We appreciate your business and remain committed to helping you succeed through these difficult times."
