Ventec International Group is evaluating the potential establishment of a new manufacturing facility in the United States as part of its strategy to expand its global footprint and better serve North American customers.

The proposed site would focus on producing high-performance laminate and prepreg materials for mission-critical PCB applications across aerospace, defense, industrial, and medical sectors. The company said the move would enhance supply chain resilience by enabling more localized, high-mix manufacturing capabilities closer to key customers.

The evaluation is part of Ventec’s broader “China + Taiwan Plus One” strategy aimed at diversifying production and strengthening supply continuity. The company’s Thailand facility, currently under development, is expected to begin operations in 2026 and represents a key step in that plan.

Senior leadership has been authorized to assess potential locations and engage with regional stakeholders, though any final investment decision remains subject to board approval.

“This would be a logical next step in the evolution of Ventec's manufacturing footprint,” a company spokesperson said. “Our focus is on being the right size, in the right places, with the right product mix to support our customers' most demanding applications.”

If approved, the US facility would be designed to support Ventec’s full portfolio of advanced materials while strengthening regional supply chain security and improving responsiveness for high-reliability industries.
