TOKYO – Meiko Electronics has announced a strategic joint venture with Allied Circuit to strengthen its position in the high-layer printed circuit board (PCB) sector and accelerate growth in the AI server market. The new entity, Allied Circuit Meiko Vietnam, will build a manufacturing facility in Vietnam, marking a significant step in Meiko’s expansion strategy.

The collaboration aims to leverage Allied Circuit’s expertise and Meiko’s global footprint to meet rising demand for advanced PCBs, particularly in high-performance computing applications. While the near-term financial impact of the venture is expected to be limited, the companies anticipate long-term benefits as AI infrastructure and data center investments continue to surge.

By establishing operations in Vietnam, Meiko also strengthens its supply chain flexibility and proximity to key customers, positioning itself to capture a larger share of the growing high-layer PCB market.
