FREUDENSTADT, GERMANY – Schmid Group reported first-half revenue of €29.7 million ($30.6 million), down 26.7% from the first six months of the last fiscal year.
The company said it has seen lower-than-expected order volumes for standard PCBs, mainly as a result of general uncertainties in the markets in China, Taiwan and Europe. The markets did not show the positive development originally expected in 2024. In the North Americas region, the company generated positive sales in 2024, primarily driven from its advanced packaging activities.
For the full fiscal year, the company expects revenue of up to €110 million ($113.5 million).
