ANSAN, SOUTH KOREA – Rogers Corp. reported a Feb. 9 fire at its UTIS manufacturing facility here, say reports.

The site was evacuated with no injuries reported. The factory, which manufactures eSorba polyurethane foams used in portable electronics and display applications, sustained extensive damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Operations have temporarily ceased, and it is unknown when they will resume.

UTIS employs approximately 50 staff at the facility and represents less than 4% of Rogers’ annual sales.
