OSLO, NORWAY – Elmatica reported a 20% revenue increase year-over-year in the third quarter.

“This indicates that even if the industry struggles with a lack of components and a challenging global economic situation with trade conflicts, commerce is still relatively strong,” said CEO Didrik Bech. “The demand for PCBs is steadily increasing, and the fourth quarter is also expected to be stronger than 2017. However, there is increased uncertainty in regard to the second quarter of 2019.”

Elmatica expects revenue to increase 3% to 8% in 2018.

“Our prognosis was third and fourth quarter 2018 would be stronger than estimated at the beginning of the year. These prognoses seem to be correct now.

“During the summer we announced 2018 would be a year with challenges and opportunities. This has certainly been the case on the global playing field, but we know with challenges come opportunities.”
