TAOYUAN CITY, TAIWAN – Multiple deaths are being reported after a massive fire in a campus dormitory at a major Taiwanese printed circuit board factory here Sunday night.
The fire at Chin Poon Industrial, one of Taiwan's largest PCB fabricators, resulted in the deaths of two workers and five local firefighters, according to the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei.
The workers were migrants from Thailand, according to reports.
Chin Poon was the world's 54th largest board fabricator in 2016, according to the NTI 100.
