MELVILLE, NY -- Park Electrochemical announced the appointment of John Jongebloed as president of Neltec, Park’s electronics business unit based in Tempe, AZ. 

He succeeds John Jamieson, who will continue in his position as vice president of aerospace supply chain management of Park.

Jongebloed was employed by Park Electrochemical and its subsidiaries in various positions between 1989 and 2014. He was president of New England Laminates business unit in Newburgh, NY, from 1999 to January 2009 and president of Park Advanced Composite Materials in Waterbury, CT, from 2007 to December 2012.

He was held positions as vice president of global logistics, vice president of business development, and president of Park Aerospace Technologies.
