SAN JOSE, CA – Sanmina reported fiscal fourth quarter revenue ended Oct. 3 of $1.64 billion, down 3% year-over-year, and up 6.5% sequentially.
On a GAAP basis, net income for the quarter was $315.4 million, up 138% compared to the same period a year ago. Operating income was $52.7 million, or 3.2% of revenue, compared to $61.5 million, or 3.6% of revenue, for the same period last year.
Revenue for the EMS company's fiscal 2015 was $6.37 billion, up 2.4% year-over-year. Net income was $377.3 million, up 91.3% year-over-year. GAAP operating income was $203.1 million, up 1.7% compared to fiscal 2014.
"We delivered a solid fourth quarter. Revenue was up 6% sequentially and non-GAAP EPS improved 8%," said Jure Sola, chairman and CEO. "In fiscal 2015, we delivered revenue growth, operating margin improvement, EPS expansion and solid cash generation, despite a mixed market environment."
The firm expects revenue between $1.55 billion and $1.6 billion for the first fiscal quarter ending Jan. 2.
