FRANKFURT – German printed circuit board sales were down 5.7% year-over-year in August and 10% sequentially, according to ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems.

Year-to-date, sales were down 3.8% compared to the same period last year.

Orders in August were down 8.8% year-over-year and 12% sequentially.

Year-to-date, orders were down 7.2% compared to the same period in 2014.

The book-to-bill ratio was 0.97 for the month.

Compared to August 2014, staff increased 4.3%.
