SHANGHAI – Electroplating Engineers of Japan, which operates the Tanaka Precious Metals’ plating business, will establish EEJA Shanghai as a local subsidiary.

Operations are set to start on Sept. 10.

EEJA Shanghai will offer a non-cyanide product, in addition to conventional plating. Reportedly, this is the first company to introduce a non-cyanide plating product for printed circuit boards in China.

EEJA Shanghai will mainly engage in plating solution analysis, plating technology consulting, and advice on customer trials using pilot line and laboratory work, while coordinating with local Chinese companies.

Sales will continue to be consigned to Tanaka Kikinzoku International (Shanghai) Co.
