SAN JOSE, CA – Sanmina reported fiscal third quarter revenue of $1.54 billion, down 3.75% year-over-year, and up 0.65% sequentially.
GAAP net income for the period ended June 27 was $24.5 million, up 18.4% compared to the same quarter in 2014. GAAP operating income was $47.3 million, or 3.1% of revenue, compared to $53.3 million, or 3.3% of revenue, for the same period last year.
"We delivered solid results for the third quarter, despite a mixed market environment. Consistent execution coupled with ongoing diversification were key drivers for overall improvement in our financial results," said Jure Sola, chairman and CEO of Sanmina. "Our outlook for the fiscal fourth quarter reflects stabilization in the market. We remain confident the second half of the calendar year will continue to improve."
The company expects fiscal fourth quarter revenue between $1.55 billion and $1.65 billion.
