TAIPEI -- An up-and-coming company that makes flexible printed circuit lithium ceramic batteries will bring a new roll-type production line online by December, according to published reports.
ProLogium believes the line would be capable of producing 800,000 to 1 million amperes worth of FLCBs a month. That's four to five times the company's current volume, the firm said. The transition would cut production costs by 40% as well.
FLCBs directly integrate flex circuits with Li-ion batteries to make the battery flexible, the report indicated.
