SANTA CLARA, CA – PCB West show registration rose 6% year-over-year, reaching nearly 2,600 registrants, UP Media Group announced
today.

It was the annual printed circuit board industry trade show’s highest registration since 2001.

Actual attendance was up 4% from 2013, as PCB designers, fabricators and assemblers enjoyed both the largest number of presentations and exhibiting
companies in the show’s 23-year history.

The most popular sessions included common PCB design errors, 3-D IC packaging, and RF/microwave design, with more than 100 attendees packing those presentations. More than 30 designers underwent IPC certification during the conference as well.

The sold-out show floor featured 90+ leading industry suppliers, and exhibitors were uniformly enthusiastic about the busy show traffic.

PCB West was held September 9 – 11 at the Santa Clara (CA) Convention Center and was sponsored by the UP Media Group publications PRINTED CIRCUIT DESIGN & FAB and CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY. It included a three-day technical conference consisting of more than 60 presentations, a one-day exhibition, featuring
the PCB industry's leading vendors, and an array of free technical sessions.

Overall, nearly 1,750 printed circuit board designers, fabricators and electronics assemblers, managers and suppliers attended the trade show, UP
Media Group said.

"You’d have to go back to the peak of the tech boom in early 2001 to the witness crowds and excitement we experienced at PCB West this year,” said

PCB West 2015 will take place Sept. 15 – 17 at the Santa Clara (CA) Convention Center.
