BELTSVILLE, MD – DfR Solutions says its Sherlock Automated Design Analysis software now works in conjunction with Dassault Systèmes’ Abaqus Finite Element Analysis.

Sherlock is for analyzing, grading, and certifying the expected reliability of products at the circuit card assembly level. The integration between Abaqus simulation results and Sherlock reliability predictions for electronic designs reportedly will give customers the ability to directly post-process Abaqus output databases.

No financial terms of the firms’ alliance were disclosed.
