PITTSBURGH – Ansys has acquired Evolutionary Engineering AG, a provider of composite analysis and optimization technology.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Even's technology is cloud-based, and its tools have for some time been integrated with those of Ansys.

Even has 12 employees and will now be known as Ansys Switzerland.
