AUSTIN, TX -- National Instruments today tightened its range for fourth-quarter revenue from its previous guidance given Oct. 25.

The company currently expects revenue of $270 million to $290 million, compared with the prior range of $265 million to $295 million. The company expects profits above the low-end of its previous guidance as well.

NI develops software tools for printed circuit board design and test analysis and other functions.
