ROCHESTER, NY – EMA Design Automation today announced it has earned the new Autodesk Simulation Specialization designation for VARs. As an Autodesk Specialized Partner, EMA has shown that it has made a significant investment in its employees, has a solid business plan specific to its specialization area, has customer references, and can offer a high level of experience and support to customers in the manufacturing industry.
The new Autodesk Partner Specializations enable VARs to highlight and brand their expertise in delivering services in key industry areas. The designation is attained by completing required curriculum and training and meeting required levels of service and standards set by Autodesk.
“When Autodesk increased their simulation offerings, we saw it as a perfect opportunity to expand our electronics simulation experience into the mechanical realm,” said Manny Marcano, president and CEO of EMA. “Now we can help our customers predict product performance and optimize designs earlier in the design process with a comprehensive set of simulation tools ranging from mechanical stress, vibration, and motion to computational fluid dynamics, plastic injection molding, and multiphysics.”
Companies are using digital simulation more than ever before to meet the challenges associated with the complexity of today’s mechanical designs. The Autodesk simulation software imports most 3D CAD formats, allowing designers to simulate faster because they can take the 3D models they have already created and test them upfront under various conditions. Multiple design variations can quickly be evaluated, allowing engineers to experiment with many more alternatives and reach an optimal design faster.
EMA is a value-added reseller offering a range of electrical and mechanical CAD tools, product lifecycle management systems, services, training, and technical support, including Cadence OrCAD.
