MUNICH – Top 3 PCB design software developer Zuken has joined the recently formed ODB++ Solutions Alliance.

The ODB++ Solutions Alliance is a group of companies that support Mentor Graphics' data transfer format.

Zuken said it will support ODB++ its CR-5000 and CR-8000 PCB design suites. Zuken will continue its support for IPC-2581, another intelligent data transfer format, the company said in a statement.

“We’ve had customers request support for ODB++, so membership in the ODB++ Solutions Alliance will help us respond to their needs. Zuken will continue in its support of other data formats, such as IPC-2581, and is an active member of the IPC-2581 Consortium,” Zuken head of international marketing Steve Chidester said in a press release.
