REDWOOD CITY, CA -- PCB manufacturer Bay Area Circuits has developed a pair of software tools and a guide as aids for creating and verifying PCB designs.

The PCB Array Calculator is an online software tool said to be is fast and easy to use, for calculating array layouts in planning the assembly and production process.

Also offered is a free desktop application Gerber Viewer, which comes with design for manufacturability (DfM) checking and quoting capability.

Finally, the printed circuit fabricator developed a DXF/DFG to Gerber Conversion Guide, giving step-by-step instructions on time-saving and error-reducing methods when converting Autocad type drawings into Gerber files.
