WILSONVILLE, OR -- Siemens Building Technologies Division in Switzerland has migrated to Mentor's Expedition Enterprise printed circuit board design flow and HyperLynx SI analysis tool.

The business unit previously used various PCB tools, including Mentor's Board Station.

"After evaluating tools from Mentor Graphics and another well-known EDA supplier, the Expedition Enterprise flow finally gained the upper hand," said Thomas Mäder, director hardware engineering group. "The migration to the new Expedition tool generation was well managed. We implemented a similar process as before, but with an improved flow that facilitates cooperation between different locations."
