WILSONVILLE, OR -- Mentor Graphics may be in talks to acquire Valor
Computerized Systems, according to published reports.
Citing undisclosed sources, Globes, an Israel-based paper, today claimed
the two companies are in talks. Valor is headquartered in Yavne, Israel.
Mentor declined to comment on the report, saying it is "a general policy
to not comment on speculation about possible merger and acquisition
activities."
Mentor, one of the world's largest PCB software companies, has acquired several
businesses over the past year, including Flomerics, Embedded Alley
Solutions, Inc., and LogicVision.
