PITTSBURGH, PA – Ansys announced $2.5 billion in full-year revenue, a 12.1% year-over-year increase.

The company's fourth quarter revenue of $882.2 million marked an increase of 10% compared to the fourth quarter of 2023.

As previously announced on Jan. 15, 2024, Ansys entered into a definitive agreement with Synopsys under which Synopsys will acquire Ansys. The merger has received conditional clearance from the European Commission, and the UK Competition and Markets Authority provisionally accepted the companies' remedies towards a transaction approval. The State Administration for Market Regulation of the People’s Republic of China has officially accepted their filing, and its review of the proposed transaction is in process.

The transaction is anticipated to close in the first half of 2025, subject to the receipt of required regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. In light of the pending transaction, Ansys has suspended quarterly earnings conference calls and no longer provides quarterly or annual guidance.
