PITTSBURGH, PA – Ansys reported second quarter GAAP revenue of $305.9 million, up 15.9% year-over-year.

Net income was $92.6 million, an increase of 32.9% compared to the second quarter of 2017.

“We delivered another strong quarter with double-digit revenue growth,” said Ajei Gopal, president and CEO. “The momentum in our business clearly continued into the second quarter, and we are excited about the results we are yielding from our focused execution. We are making progress in extending our reach and broadening our footprint throughout the entire product lifecycle.

The company expects third quarter GAAP revenue of $261.4 million to $281.4 million. For 2018, Ansys is guiding for GAAP revenue between $1.2 billion and $1.24 billion.
