Arlon Inc. announced the release of the TC600 Microwave Laminate. The product has a claimed 6.15 dielectric constant designed to provide enhanced heat-transfer, while reducing dielectric loss, insertion loss, and dielectric constant variation with temperature.

The company states that this increased thermal conductivity provides higher power handling, reducing power amplifier junction temperatures and solder joint fatigue, and that the product can be used to compliment or reduce the costs of existing thermal management solutions.

According to the company, the product is also stable over a wide temperature range, and that low coefficient of thermal expansion properties provides a claimed higher level of component attachment and plated thru-hole reliability for improved reliability.
