Additive Circuits creates copper connections between BGA pads. The company reports the new conductors to be flat and reliable at widths as narrow as 0.005", with no restriction in length, repeatable technique at medium and high volume, and that RoHS compliance can be met.

According to Arthur DesMarais, President, the process is compatible with most surface finishes and allows standard assembly methods to be used.
