Fuse EDA AI Agent is an autonomous workflow orchestration system designed to manage semiconductor, 3D IC and PCB design processes across the full electronic design automation lifecycle. The system coordinates multi-tool and multi-agent workflows spanning design, verification and manufacturing sign-off, supporting automation of tasks such as RTL development, testbench generation, place-and-route, timing analysis and design rule checking.

Built on the Fuse EDA AI system, the platform incorporates a retrieval-augmented generation framework, multimodal EDA data handling and domain-specific parsers for design file formats. It supports integration across Siemens’ EDA portfolio, including Catapult, Aprisa, Calibre, Solido, Veloce, Tessent, Xpedition and Hyperlynx, as well as third-party tools through Model Context Protocol-based orchestration.

The system includes hierarchical agent coordination with supervisor and worker agents, dynamic tool discovery and automated recovery loops to manage complex workflows. It is designed to operate within enterprise environments, supporting high-performance computing resource allocation, centralized data orchestration and air-gapped infrastructure.

Fuse EDA AI Agent also incorporates role-based access controls, audit trails and validation mechanisms to maintain data governance and protect sensitive design information. Support for NVIDIA Agent Toolkit, Nemotron models and GPU infrastructure enables enhanced reasoning, tool execution and workflow scalability across EDA applications.
