Hirose Electric's K.FL2 series of micro RF connectors feature a low profile of 1.2mm when mated.

Available in two versions, a RF cable mating type and a FPC-to-board mating type, with both versions supporting high-density mounting to further save PCB real estate. Are said to deliver excellent high-frequency performance and have low voltage standing wave ratios (VSWR) of 1.3 Max: 0-3GHz; 1.5 Max: 3-6GHz; 1.6 Max: 6-8GHz. Are compatible with pick-and-place mounting and are used in consumer applications including laptop computers, smart phones, tablets, VR/AR glasses, routers and more. Use a tapered design for easy mating with significantly reduced insertion force, a polarity key for easy identification of the mounting direction and a clear tactile click confirms proper mating. Also feature a robust, integrated plug design to prevent plug deformation during un-mating and a nickel barrier at the shell and contact to prevent solder wicking and flux penetration.
