Matlab 2021b includes code refactoring and block editing, as well as the ability to run Python commands and scripts.

Simulink enables users to run multiple simulations for different scenarios from Simulink Editor and create custom tabs in Simulink Toolstrip. New products support wireless communications: RF PCB Toolbox enables design, analysis, and visualization of high-speed and RF multilayer printed circuit boards. RF engineers can design components with parameterized or arbitrary geometry, including distributed passive structures such as traces, bends, and vias. Using frequency-domain method of moments and other EM techniques, coupling, dispersion, and parasitic effects can be modeled. Toolbox support for ODB++ and databases from Cadence Allegro, Mentor Expedition, Altium, and Zuken enables analysis of high-speed portions of PCB layout. Signal Integrity Toolbox provides functions and apps for designing high-speed serial and parallel links. Can generate experiments covering multiple parameters, extract design metrics, and visualize waveforms and results. Supports standard-compliant IBIS-AMI models for statistical and time-domain simulation to analyze equalization and clock recovery. Symbolic Math Toolbox, Lidar Toolbox, and Simulink Control Design have also been updated.
