Electronics Packaging Designer (EPD) suites are powered by AutoCAD OEM. Used for complete PCB design or specific tasks such as bond wire exporting or translation of Gerber or GDS files.

EPD Professional Suite for Windows addresses EDA design process and incorporates tools for ease of processing thick-film ceramic designs, such as enhanced dynamic masks generator, panel generation, ODB++ output, and bondwire data export to support bondwire machines. In addition to nibbler data for removing cavity material in bulk or in steps, it controls Gerber, hole, and punch data for correct output to manufacturing; beneficial for low- and high-temperature co-fired ceramic designs. EPD Standard Suite for Windows enables creation of prototypes; can skip schematic process and build prototype directly as board design. Can create layout, test it, then hand it off for schematic generation. EPD Basic Suite for Windows is for PCB, RF, and flex with bidirectional Gerber translator, GDS translator. Includes schematic capture and 3-D, advanced routing, automatic documentation, and module of commands that allow designers to clean file. EPD Starter Suite for Windows is for simple PCB designs that require light design rule checking with Gerber output. Schematic capture is included for electrical checking. Includes module of commands to clean file.
