Self-Supporting Sponge Connectors provide low-force connection of LCD displays to printed circuit boards. Are said to reduce PCB bowing due to minimal force required for full electrical contact. Designed for high-vibration environments and hand-held devices. Made from economical, electrically conductive Zebra core supported by low-compression force silicone sponge on either one or two sides. Soft supports create a larger base width and eliminate need to install a separate holder. Come in a large selection of widths to accommodate LCDs with a minimum glass lip overhang of 0.060"/1.5 mm.
