DAUCHINGEN, GERMANY Suntech has shut the PWB equipment side of KSL-Kuttler Automation Systems in order to concentrate on the photovoltaics market.

Suntech acquired Kuttler in 2008, which was founded in 1988.

In June, Kuttler issued a statement noting that in light of the global PCB industry’s 15% reduction in sales in 2009, it would concentrate instead on the fast-growing PV equipment business.
